The number of investments jumped every year: the platform in 484 lived in 2010, against 1943 in 2014. Since the beginning of the year 1215 boot operations were buckled in the world for a total of 1 97 billion, while the total amount for the whole year 2014 was $ 1.95 billion. The average valuation of startups rose from 3.2 million in 2010 to 5.9 million in 2015. Kima Ventures, the fund of Xavier Niel, is in second class of the most active VC on the boot sector worldwide since 2010, with 198 investment, behind the San Francisco-based fund SV Angel. Kima is placed well before the Irish state funds Enterprise Ireland (third with 196 operations), Andreessen Horowitz (fourth with 134 operations) or Google Ventures (fifth with 131 operations). |
